LIVING WITH INVISIBLE ILLNESS — COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT
LABIRINT
The inner world of invisible illnesses.
If life with an invisible chronic illness took physical form, it would look like a labyrinth.
You do not enter it by choice, and you do not know its paths. Over time, you begin to recognise them — their turns, obstacles, dead ends, and the paths you have already walked.
Within this Labirint, certain aspects of living with illness appear time and again. I call them Corridors. The seven Corridors illuminate different parts of this experience — from our relationship with time and our own identity, to relationships with those close to us, the system, and life with an illness that has no pause button.

MORE →ABOUT ME
I’M UNA.
I have lived with invisible chronic illnesses for more than 16 years. I spent twelve years searching for answers before I received a diagnosis.
In time, I realised that a diagnosis mainly answers one question: what is happening to my body. A great many others remain unanswered.
In Labirint, I bring together three worlds I know closely: personal experience of chronic illness, legal knowledge, and knowledge of relationships and human experience.
I hold a master's degree in law, have passed the Slovenian professional examination in social welfare, and am currently continuing my education in the field of marriage and family therapy.
